Check Out the Orange County Flex User Group

October 29, 2007 · No Comments

Just a reminder that the first Orange County Flex User Group meeting is this Thursday, November 1st. If you're interested in Flex, at any level, feel free to swing by. We've already had members start signing up and some people from the community express interest in coming down and speaking.

The meeting will be a kind of introductory one with an agenda that includes member introductions, discussion of user group goals, means of communication, meeting places, topics for future meetings and speakers we'd like to have. For those of you who aren't familiar with Flex, we'll be doing an introduction to Flex 3 and a quick walkthrough of an application.

Don't forget to bring your business cards for a raffle for some Flex swag. Also, if you're planning on attending and have something "introductory" you'd like discussed, feel free to leave a comment. You can also become a member here. Although, it is not necessary to be a member to attend.

Date, time and location information can be found in the last post. See you there!

We're excited to announce the newly formed Orange County Flex User Group. This is a joint effort by Laura Arguello, Nahuel Foronda, and Tom Nguyen of ASFusion, Bill Thompson of PADI, and Rich Oren and myself, Juan Sanchez, of Atomic Curve to help create an open forum for individuals interested in Flex, Flash and AIR. You can check out the about page for more information, check our schedule, or sign up to become a member.

Our goal is make every meeting free of charge and make sure we schedule as many engaging meetings as possible. If you have any comments, suggestions or feedback please feel free to let us know. Stay tuned for details on our first meeting.
